ive heard rumors that The panthers will want to trade up to grab Quinn in the draft and and if we are in that position to grab Quinn would you accept a trade that would be our first for their first, Kris Jenkins and a 2nd?

Not nearly enough, that means we would be dropping out of the top 10. Not to mention if they were trading with us to get Brady Quinn, that would mean we would have #1 overrall pick which means a MUCH higher price tag to acquire that pick, it would have to be more like their 1st round pick NEXT year along with their 1st round pick THIS year, their 2nd round pick THIS year, and then maybe one of their high profile players or another draft pick. I'm not sold Jenkins anymore, he USED to be one of the best DT's in the league, but not anymore.

If Carolina gave us Peppers instead of Jenkins I would be jumping up and down! If we trade to Carolina Peppers and their first MUST be included in the trade!

Lets see were they wind up. If they lose out they have a shot at ending up with a pick in the 8 to 12 range. Sliding down from 1 to 8 for their 2nd this year and a 2nd next year would be a good deal for us.

As much a premium as most teams put on pass throwers, the same is put on pass rushers. Don't see them trading away a top pass rusher in his prime. A DT or other position would be far more likely.

With that being said, i do not want Jenkins. Fat guys that appear to be considerably less motivated than when they were younger scare me.

Really depends on where they end up in the draft order. I would like a 2 this year in addition to the 1 this year and a 2 next year plus a player.

I posted a moss for peppers in a few threads the past weeks...

with Sapp getting up in years, Peppers would be a great fit, but just not sure if we should trade the pick as well, and get steve smith while we are at it?

I guess I'm just assuming some players are untouchable. Like LT, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and oh ya, Peppers.

Moss was an untouchable early in his career but not after the 2004 season. Just like Peppers is untouchable now but 3 or 4 years from now it will be a different story.
