Vick to Oakland Thread Merged

and almost cried in fear that we would get vick...

and its not just that article, i have been hearing it all over...it was just the straw that broke the camels back. he is inconsistent, innacurate and a running back with a great arm. He has streaks of greatness only followed by streaks of mediocrity. instead of fixing the o line we are going to solve it by geting a MORE mobile quarterback? brooks is already a mobile quarter back.

The problem lies in our offensive line...fixable through free agency (max starks of the steelers and lenard davis of the cardinals are two tackles who will be free agents who come to mind)...and a running back who can carry the ball 25-30 times a game, (marshall lynch or adrianne peterson). then maybe art would start doing what he said he was going to do in the beginning and that is be a power football team, which in turn would help our run defense by keeping the defense from being on the field all game every f'in week.

with an o-line and a running game then maybe walter would look a little better. im not saying he is as good as peyton manning, drew breez, tom brady, or carson palmer...but this idea that in the nfl you are going to need something like michael vick at quarterback is ridiculous. maybe im old school but i still think defense and a run game are what you build championships on.

does anyone think that vick is the answer?

I'd rather not have Vick. His style of play is not the answer here. Vick will always be a run first, throw second QB. I think Andrew Walter is the answer with some honest coaching.

Vick is going no where. The management loves him and it's pretty much a given that Mora is done.; If anyone goes it's Matt Schaub not Vick.

I disagree with the writer, There is another Young in this years draft and i personally think he is better and his name is TROY SMITH!!!! WHo needs Vick when you can have your own!!!

No way I'd want Vick on this team, but if we got him, I'd have no choice but to support the guy.. And BTW, he's freakin awesome on the Raiders in my Madden 07 franchise- but then again, real-life ain't a video game..

I was just thinking?Do you think Moss is lobbying for Vick to come to Oakland. IMO I think the only secnario that randy stays is if we pick up Vick? I personally dont really want either. I could just see Moss saying he only stays if Vick(his man crush) comes to Oakland.You better bet that Davis wants Moss to retire in Oakland. So i see it as a possabilty?(we would be giving a second round pick and porter's dumb ass) I like the upside only if we Draft Peterson. But without that secnario I would want to shoot myself. like I have week after week this season. Sorry about starting another Vick thread but hell there really isnt anything else to talk about. Or should I say specualte about. Imput?

Im a huge vick fan but he is not comeing to Oakland... NO. the team is not looking to trade him all those rumors were going on when the Falcons were loseing and now there winning and tradeing vick will not only hurt there team but hurt there fan base people go to there games to see vick nobody else..

Who the hell cares about Moss? He is a heartless non-factor ,and it would be the utmost exercise in stupidity to attemp to build a team around him.
