Shell pi**ed off

I go this off that other board. I wonder who it could be?

I'm going to guess Lombardi.
He didn't want Shell in the first place and was the guy pushing hardest for Petrino.
Art should worry more about winning games than whether someone in the front office is calling members of the media. If the Raiders aren't 2-9, nobody would be listening.

Meh, sounds fake but who knows? Sounds like he's reaching but if this is true then one of our coaches has some Machivellian traits in him...

That might be the right hunch. Now my thing is that if it is Mike Lombardi that did this then those two have to just end this issue now because we cannot afford to lose Mike Lombardi AT ALL.

It's probably one of these "Hollywood" Raiders.

Lombardi isn't all that. I question some of the personel moves he has made the last three years. Yes, we can afford to lose him... By losing him that means we can go out and get a real GM.

Yup..I'd put money on it.

Which is the reason you don't hear much from him any more.

Shell said it's not a coach or player, so that would eliminate Shoop.
So, who else in the Raiders organization would have access to a lot of national media members?
Amy Trask, maybe.
Mike Lombardi, definitely. Combine that with Lombardi's preference for Petrino, and I think it all adds up.

Poor peranoid Art...someone is always out to get him. If he would quit hiring clowns for OC's and trading off receivers who showed up and made an effort every game, people wouldn't be bagging on him.

Now what makes you think Al is actually gonna get a GM? I mean I wish he would but he's not going to and Mike is pretty much the closest thing to one.
