He would fit right in with the recent coaches we've had. He's done a fantastic job of taking a group of very talented players and turning them into a mediocre team.

yeah your right if he couldnt handle his college guys from having on and off the field problems...how would we expect for him to cotrol Moss or jerry porter but porter was saying that walsh's system is a joke and so is art...but he did lead his team to a national tittle......

I don't think that's what he meant but funny nonetheless!

To be a little more detailed...The former HC's name is Larry Coker. And NO, I don't think he would be a good fit.he is a good coach, however, he has that "nice guy" mentality. He doesn't know how to discpline nor get into the face of a player & fire him up.He was also very poorous at recruiting. The 2006 signing day was the WORSE recruiting that Miami ever had in their entire existence.I hope this fills you in a bit more.

Coker is an avg. college coach; he didn't recruit well or relate to his players, and he did well until the previous coaches players left.

Wow, no wonder the Raiders suck so bad.

I was hoping you meant Jimmy Johnson instead of Coker. He's the only ex-Miami coach I would consider a good fit.
