I was actually hoping that he was going to buy the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL. He's from Pittsburgh himself and that would be assurance that the team wouldn't be moved (BIG Pittsburgh Pens fan here).
I definitely like the way the guy operates and I certainly wouldn't be opposed to the idea of him buying the Raiders. That guy has fire. At first I thought he was a bit of a jackass, but he kind of grows on you. |

He said to me many times through the years that owners are often the problem with their franchises, that too many of them think they can run things when they cannot, and the teams that succeed are the ones where the owner hires the best people he can and turns the game over to them." |

Mark Cuban would be awsome in silver and black. Just imagine him dressed as Darth Vader jumping up and down in his seat in the Black Hole swinging his light saber all over the place and screaming unprintable obscenities at Trent Green and Jake Plummer.
It is unanimous so far ... unbelievably we all agree on something. Lets put all of the time and energy that we spend complaining about things here to good use. Lets find a way to get this in front of him and ask him to buy the Raiders. Any ideas how we can approach him? |

check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Cuban my favorite part "Cuban has played an active role in developing the Mavericks to NBA championship contenders. His decisions have been the source of media attention and controversy. In the face of such attention, the Mavericks have experienced a turnaround and resurgence of the franchise.[45] Unlike most owners who play more passive roles and watch basketball games from skyboxes, Cuban enthusiastically sits alongside fans in the crowd and wears team jerseys.[46] Cuban is known for flying his private airplane, a Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream V to attend away games and for wearing Mavericks T-shirts and jerseys at games both at home and on the road. Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register said "He made the ultimate fan fantasy come true by buying and running a professional sports franchise and has been astoundingly good at it."[47]

I'm definently all for that. It'd be another chapter in the history of the Raiders. You'd kinda think that for so long the Raiders have been an enbodiment of Al Davis and since he's old now and apparently not doing well, you can see it in the Raiders of today.
Mark Cuban would be a great Raider owner. **** the Raider Nation strike, lets convince this man to buy the team.

He would gamble and do everything unsound on the corner." - Warren Sapp on DeAngelo Fall |

Cuban hasn't won jack_**** with the Mavs. He is not even the best owner in the NBA, that title belongs to the great Jerry Buss.
