NFL CONCERNED ABOUT RAIDERS

Well tell "the NFL" to call off the refs with their biased B.S. calls and we would be a lot more competitative. Just to keep it real our oponents get away with quite a bit of holding...

nothing sounds too out of line in that article. We're in bad shape guys. Art Shell isn't the answer, and that's already evident in his choice of OC and the way he's handled Porter, Moss, the rest of the WRs, QB, etc. He really is just a puppet for AL. He's executing the way AL wants him to. Walsh is running the Al Davis offense.

It's complete BS. This team is going nowhere until Al Davis is gone.

I do not think Art is Als puppet
I do think the "opinion" is BS - Why not talk about the Redskins in same breath? Why wouldn't FA want to come here? They get paid - (see Moss/Jordan/Sapp) same as Washington
But soon that site will be talking about the Skins and how you cannot build through FA alone. They give ALL their draft picks away
So if you can't build through FA and you cannot build through the draft?????....they talk in circles IMO when it is convenient.

Exactly, and you can add the Chargers and Bengals to that list too. The Raiders are in the first
protracted slump in their existence, and we should fold the franchise...

I hear you.. There are plenty of other teams that have sucked harder and for longer than us. The media likes to beat us up and all, but i really think that goes to show how far we have fallen. Why do they like to bash us? We used to be the big bad bullies of the NFL. These teams - and all those ex-players in the media - all used to fear us. We were always a threat. We were always dominant. We're a TOTAL joke now. the Gruden years REALLY were a fluke. Gruden won IN SPITE of al davis' meddling.

and we're not just having some bad seasons. We're horribly mismanaged. Al's out of control. This is a marquee NFL franchise and he's managing it like he's a 12 year old playing Madden. His obsession with crappy pet players, this antiquated offense, his grudges with players, refusal to pay coaches - it's all completely unacceptable and it's killing our franchise.

It's ok for the cardinals to suck, because they've always sucked. They have never mattered in the NFL. But this is the raiders. It's not ok for us to suck. and if we're at the stage where we're saying "look at all these other teams - they suck, it must be ok for us" well then, you have truly drunk the kool-aid and you are lost just like Al "Jim Jones" Davis. I'm sick of this BS.

Co-Sign anyone could easily make up a story like that. If it isn't quoting any league officials and just being completely vague like that its obviouslly made up.

I'm sure that the players do have a problem with the running of this team. I know I do. But the NFL could give two poops about the Raiders. And why worry about us?? There have been plenty of struggling teams over the years, they didn't seem to worry about them. And I'm sure some of the players do consider Shell a joke, again I know I do. He is Al's puppet, you can see the strings if you look closely enough. He does what the man tells him to do. I just hope the "man" tells him to rid himself of Walsh, and soon.

Why hasn't Lombardi done a good job??? Didn't he bring us Burgess? Sure he wiffed on Moss, but who would have thought that Moss would turn into a sniveling punk. I thought our draft wasn't half bad, I'd say Lombardi had something to do with that. The draft is a crap shoot anyway. Its like a box of chocolates (said like Forrest Gump).....

This offseason is huge for the Raiders. Lombardi will earn his pay by going out and getting good servicable offensive linemen. If he doesn't, then we can make him walk the plank. If Walsh isn't let go in the offseason then I will really start to wonder about the mental capacity of the man in charge. He needs to surround Shell this offseason with guys that can gameplan and get the players to respond, cause its not happening now. Let them run the game, practice and meetings and Art can stand there with his arms folded and look like an authoritarian.

obviously they haven't seen the kids on the Defensive side of the ball play, it all starts on that side of the ball, how can't you be excited about where this Team is headed.
