I think I heard them say tonight that Turner is gonna be a free agent next year. Think we can snake him from the Dolts? Would they try and tag him? One less thing to worry about in the draft?

Ya, I know, I'm gunshy too. But you have to take a shot sometime. Maybe he could be one of a few that we can bring in here. We just can't give him the bank, like Jordan got.

to Jordans injury that sucks he was proving himself, to turner not sure,isnt he a restricted free agent?

As much as I hope you don't pick him up, he's really a very talented RB, seriously, he'd be a starter on 15-20+ teams in this league. His YPC is higher than LT, LJ, and Stephan Alexander... I think the only reason he doesn't get a lot more pub than he does, is because he's playing behind LT. Similar to LJ when Priest Holmes was putting up stellar numbers for KC. He's a perfect compliment to LT because he's got speed and power and he'd be a nice pickup for the Raiders. That being said... Hell no! You can't have him. ummm I mean... Well, you get it.

Ya, just read this on the SD site:
"Turner will be a restricted free agent after the season, and the Chargers could give him a first and third tender. That would guarantee Turner around $1.5 million for 2007, and would give the Chargers the option of matching another team's offer to him or accepting first-and third-round picks as compensation.

The Chargers also could give Turner just a first-round tender, which could net them a first-round pick. "

I think we are better off "grabbing" Sad Diego's offensive coordinator Cam Cameron somehow...but that's wishful thinking.

he wouldn't join the enemy anyways.

I haven't seen enough of Turner to know how good he really is. When LT lines up in the slot, it makes it a lot easier for Turner. SD also has a very good OL.

Turner is a good player.....I'd love for him to be our back or at least have a chance. He has the speed to negate our offensive line woes unlike tap dancing LAMEont
