It would be an amazing acquisition. A lot of people thought Al was going to take Roy Williams with the 2nd pick of the draft. It's hard to look at the 2004 draft board and see some of the players we could've drafted instead of Gallery, it hurts.

Porter will be gone by the end of the season. What we get for him? Who knows? Roy Williams would be nice. We suddenly need more receivers, since we were stupid enough to trade away Dougie, and Moss and Porter are suddenly worthless.

We're talking Roy the WR? I can't imagine the Lions trading him. He's their entire offense right now. It wouldn't be a straight up trade it would have to be something like Porter and our 1st rounder for Roy and their 2nd rounder. A Roy for Porter trade isn't fair value for them.

Are you sure the rumor isn't Porter for MIKE Williams? No way in hell they'd trade their best player on the entire team for Porter.

This sounds more like it. And I wouldn't make that trade. Mike Williams is almost a sure bet to be waived like Charles Rogers was earlier this year.
