Tampa's fans are VERY unhappy with Gruden. Many in Tampa feel that the Glazers will give him at least next year but that's it.

Al will give Art at least one more year after this.

Could it be conceivable that...

Al would hire Gruden in the 2008 season in an attempt to start winning again

things have been werid around here for the past couple years, so you never know........but i dont really think he will come back

I am NOT saying this is the right thing to do, but I was wondering if others thought that this would even have a chance of happening. Would Al swallow his pride at a chance of rejuvbinating the Raiders. Would Gruden even want to come back...

No Gruden wanted out Al gave him out. That being said I would welcome him back if he brings back the nastiness and a offense

The only way I see this happening is if Al Davis is no longer in control of the Raiders. As long as Al is here we won't be getting any established coaches unless they have some former ties with the Raiders.

I hope so. I know some want to Shell and Walsh to go, but I feel that we just need a better OC. I believe that Shell will find his guys to believe in him but I don't see them buying in to the train wreck that is Walsh.

And Gruden was an 'established' coach when we got him?
