Pass on signing him. He's already publicly stated he wants a deal that makes him the leagues highest paid TE. The guy will be 31 next year. Most tight ends are washed up by age 32. Its not a position were you see guys playing at a pro-bowl level in their mid-thirties.

We don't have an o-line that affords our QB enough time to get the ball to Randy Moss! Hence 17 net passing yards today and 6 sacks given up. I don't think that Tony Gonzalez is going to help.

Free agency should be used strictly for the offensive linemen, and then everything else.

Gonzalez would help this offense, as his downside is currently better than the others we have. But if he wants three kagillion dollars, pass.

I'd do it.

He went to Cal Berkely.

Sign him -- draft Marshawn Lynch, and re-unite several Cal players. LOL...

He would be a good veteran security blanket for Andrew Walter, and is very sure-handed.

Also, he owns a home in So.Cal, so him playing in No.Cal would be a great fit.

I don't like the guy, I would rather take someone else. At a cheaper price too.
