Porter continues to practice with the Raiders and stands a decent chance to be active for Sunday's game against the Steelers, ESPN's John Clayton reports.

Jerry McDonald's blog said Porter was splitting time between the scout and regular team. I'd be shocked if he was activated considering he missed Tuesday and Wednesday practices.

Of course he is not playing. It was the NFLPA that stopped the suspension, not Shell. He won't play next week either, he suspended him for four games originally. After the suspension I doubt he will let him play then, he will never play for us again.

Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports Oakland Raiders WR Jerry Porter is expected to start the Week 8 game opposite WR Randy Moss, according to a source who has watched Raiders' practices this week. The source claims Porter has been running with the first team since Thursday, Oct. 26.
Fantasy Impact: Interesting. We wouldn't use him this week, but you might want to take a chance on him with a roster spot. He could have some fantasy value in a starting role.

Pretty much my opinion of the situation too We could use him today I just don't see it happening at all.
