Gannon For OC?!

Is this possible? Could it happen this year or would it have to wait until next season?

I'd love to see Gannon as our OC and HC...He's intense and intelligent...he'd be great!

What makes you think he's interested in coaching

i would actually sign a petition for this if it wold lead to anything but it wont, he would undoubtley make a great oc or hc he is a great and relitivley young mind. he learned from a great guy in gruden and has quite a spark to him not too mention he would get rid of all the bull**** around the club house.

I loved when he took away all the video games and pool balls and said " If you think you deserve them come to me and ask" then the guys who asked sadly didnt stay with the team much longer and thats what needs to happen

what experience does he have at coaching?

Last I heard, he said he didn't want to coach because he wanted family time. Has that changed?

QB coach right now, not OC. Hes not experienced enough to Be immediatly put at a Coordinator spot.

He said this recently? Damn would he be a sorely needed shot in the arm. He's the antithesis of Walsh's crusty ass.

not sure if his contract with cbs would allow him this year?

with the Raiders anything is possible, i would see him in a year or 2, or possible one for where ever Gruden coaches?

You dont know that. He was a leader on the field thats for damn Sure. But he needs time as a Coach to gain experience. Its not a go Balls out type of thing.

Eric Mangini has been in the league for 2 years and hes already a head coach doin a damn good job, some people are natural at this OC isnt a head coach or even assistant head coach Rich Gannon has been a coach on the field for us, hes a very smart guy with intelligence of the game he can jump right into bein' an OC, Eric Mangini never even played football at the level that Gannon has he doesnt have that experience on the field and the guys already a head coach!

Gannon was a self-made pro-bowl QB built on hard work, practice and most of all obsessive film study. He's got all the makings of a great coach, and I have no doubt in his ability.
