Jeff George???????????

Now that brooks is out of the picture for awhile and walters clearly is not ready for the job at starting qb what do we have to lose but to sign george . if not him we need to get someone in there now a veteren qb who's been tested and is mobile atleast to get away from the pocket when it shuts down .do you fans have any suggestions about who to bring in and why

Walter IS ready for a starting job...

it takes game time reps to get him up to speed...

hopefully the O-Line can actually block for him and he doesn't get killed.

If the Raiders sign J.George and let him start over Walter I will officially become a fan of another team (until Al dies). And i've been a Raider fan my whole life.

He played well with a Oline like that and against the best defense of the NFL, 2 Int were here because WR didn't catch his ball.

My God you people are loosing your friigin minds around here! I'm seeing some people who think we're still going to the playoffs and now others who want to bring in Jeff George as our starting Q.B.
Both of those ideas are crazy and neither will happen!

It's not impossible for a team to go to the playoffs after starting 0-2 (definitely not saying we are headed there), but it hasn't been done in the past 2 years and beyond that I think the % chance based on prior teams that have done it is right around 13 I think.

i don't want JG anywhere near this team unless its because every QB on the roster is on IR.

But i agree Walter needs some work. Hopefully he can handle the job.

i personally would like to see Tui get some reps but i'm one of the few who think the guy has talent.

If George were brought here to start I too would jump ship! That would be the final straw and factually prove that Al has indeed lost his mind. Bringing George to be our starting QB would workout as well as the Titans bringing in Kerry Collins.

Andrew Walter is our starter, that's why we drafted him. He's not going to be a career Raider backup like Tui, now let's support him.

Walter looked good, given the circumstances - First game, maybe even a Rookie, no O-line, no running game, and while facing a fierce defense. He even had good arm motion when threw his helmet down on the sidelines after the Raiders failed to get a first down.
