Not going to happen. I think he's a great young QB with a bright future, but there is simply no chance he can make us "fire on all cylinders". I'd be very dissapointed if that's what people expect of a rookie QB.

Have you watched the team, And how is this little comment gotten him any attention?

The team is not ready to play right now, merriman had similar comments. Coming from other players, it is alarming what they are seeing from us.

That's what Merriman said too. Once we started to struggle, the guys basically packed it in. This is really sad folks. IMO we'll be lucky to win 4 games this year. Walsh better be spending these 2 weeks updating every single page in his playbook because is a goddamn shame to have solid defensive efforts getting wasted by horrific offensive performances.

Why would Ravens fans care if the Raiders play soft? Geez, have you guys watched us? We play like it, so it is very believable that what Ray and Merriamn said were true.

There is a difference between losing heart and losing your balls. Merriman described the former, whilst Lewis describes the latter.

Whether either are correct is beside the point, Merriman's account is more detailed and more believable.

If the Raiders D had just creamed another teams offense, you'd be crowing as loud as anyone if Kirk came out and said they were scared after we started hitting.
