Porter would be closer to his home, and would welcome the opportunity to be in Norm Chow's system and play with Kerry Collins.

Not sure what the Raiders do with Brooks though.

Its obvious that Walter is the future (at least a view held within the organization), but shouldn't we at least take a look at Walter this year to evaluate him, and give him an opportunity to work out the kinks (ala Alex Smith -- 49ers)???

Billy Volek is a great #2 QB, and I gotta believe would only come here if the opporunity to start presented itself for several years (ala Rich Gannon).

Two things are for certain -- 1) with this offensive line, no QB can succed in Oakland, and 2) Aaron Brooks is certainly not in the long term plans of the Raiders (another view held by management).

I would rather just pick up Bradlee Van Pelt he needs work right now, I'm telling this guy is born to be a Raider his dad was one. I would rather get a good O lineman for Porter.

Sounds good considering we've been getting trade raped this year. This would be another violation. I guess karma needs to balance out the PBuc trade.
