I dont know how serious this is. I know that san diego wants to make a trade for volek, rumor also has it that they're going to try to work something out after they play this weekend (Rumor via nfl live bspn) So what Oakland might be doing is just trying to run the price up on them. Good move if they can do it. There seems to be interest from both volek and the dolts. Oakland is just playing spoiler and running up the price.
That's what I believe to be happening.

Just another bum QB that someone else doesn't want. If the Titans don't want him, why would we?
A Jim Plunkett only comes around for a team once. We should have grabbed Cutler in the draft. Jay has been better than Vince, Matt, and our very own Andrew so far.

I caught the tail end of the Titans game on Sunday TIcket last week, and none other than Kerry Collins was in at QB. How freakin' ironic would it be if we picked up the guy who was deposed by the guy we just let go and was everybody's favorite scapegoat last year? Weird, if you ask me......

Maybe this is a solution to finally send Tui packing..?? Just a thought..I wouldn't mind Volek as a 3rd, but I guess that's obviously why he isn't happy with the Titans...either way, whatever's clever..
