The Real Gabriel Story.
Ok we all know our insider Unstoppable, told us that Jerry Porter didn't get along with Gabriel. Gabriel had it out for Porter for awhile, wanted his job.
So... Maybe Porter said hey guys I'll apologize to Tom Walsh if you guys dump DG. I hate the guy. I'll step up and play whatever you say.... Vadar. Coach Shell doesn't intially like the deal. But Al Davis likes the whole plan and decides to go through with it. The Good Porter has a breakout year, Gabriel plays mediocre in NE. The Bad Gabriel lights it up in New England, and Porter is benched by game 4. Something else I noticed Porter and Curry seem to be friends I've noticed them talking on several occassions, and when Porter caught that pass in Preseason Curry came over and patted him on the back noone else said anything to him. P.S. Just having some fun guys.

I know one thing if you are a mediocore WR, Tom Brady can still get the ball to you. Now i think Gabs is gona do great over in NE, and i am happy for him. Ofcourse Gabriel wanted Jerry's job, if you don't want that as a back-up you are not a player. If Jerry can't handel the heat of others trying to get his job, he should quit playing Football....

It's real simple. Gabriel got traded because he was deemed expendable. The organization valued a 5th round draft pick next year over Gabriel's contributions this year. I don't understand it and I don't agree with it, but they made the decision that they think best suits the success of the Raiders.

The only legit reason Gabriel wasn't brought back was that the Raiders wouldn't have been able to re-up his contract with Moss, Porter, and Curry making bank.
And we all know Whitted is going to retire a Raider.

haha is this going to become the unoffical Raiders National Enquirer forum where we just make up random stuff and post it..lol
On a more serious note I think that they did what they did for the reasons that they did it and they might not be so clear to all of us yet.. (but dg was dropping and fumbleing the ball some this preseason so who knows?)
