Brentson Buckner

I know there has been multiple threads about Buckner and his chances of being signed by us/where he will go/etc.

But watching Cold Pizza this morning, Buckner was on. Jay Crawford asked him about his retirement, and Buckner said "I am not retired, I am still sitting at the phone waiting for any NFL team to call me."

What I was wondering is why hasn't he been signed by anyone? I know he is old, but I still think he would be a great pick-up for any team (especially the Raiders who may need that type of player on the d-line).

So why hasn't he been signed? Is he asking for too much money? I was wondering because by listening to his interview on Cold Pizza, it almost sounded like he was just waiting for any team to call him to give him a chance.

As many able bodied defenders as we can get into camp will make me very happy. Buckner can at least play a situational role and help relieve Sapp or Kelly. Not a bad pick up if he comes cheap!

When he was cut I read somewhere that a lot of Panther players were secretly glad he was shown the door. So I'm thinking there is something about this guy's personality that is keeping teams from calling him.
