The Official Junior Seau do you want him or not thread? ~merged~

http://www.nctimes.com/articles/2006...1_507_1_06.txt

Columnist for San Diego's North County Times says no team has offered a job to Junior Seau, who is now 37 and coming off two injury-plagued seasons in Miami.

Rumor circulating among residents of Boltville that Chargers will sign him to a one-day contract to let him retire a Bolt, or something to that effect.

Anyway, it does appear Junior's career as an NFL linebacker is over.

he was a true warrior on the field so I gotta give him that respect...I love how he play at USC but hated the fact that the Chargers drafted him....once again I have nothing but respect for Junior Seau.

Yeah he was a great player but he was on all the wrong teams. Especially those stupids Dolphins. That's a horrible franchise. A bunch of homos with dolphins on their helmets. Next thing you know they are going to change their logo to a rainbow.

He was a great player but I heard alot of folks from Somoan descent in the L.A. area hated his ass. I asked why and they said that he sold out the Samoan Nation by disrespecting Samoan's in an interview. I don't know, that's just what I heard..... Happy retirement dude. Since he left S.D. I could give 2 ****s about him.

That's a guy who played with heart. He was the only thing that I have ever enjoyed watching in SD. The league needs more players like him.

A great carreer comes to an end. Say what you want, but Junior had game, lots of it, and he usually brought it. He would have looked better though in Silver and Black...

I agree. Anyone that played with so much heart and tenacity should have been a Raider at some point in his career!
