i think mcnairs a really good QB....aging or not...the thing i would be concerned with though is injuries and as someone said already he wants too much money....if we could get him at a fair price i'd be hella tempted

mc nair can still play but we dont need him if he leaves tenn, his best fit is the ravens to shift power in their division, you dont forget how to throw the ball overnight, steve has 5 great years left barring those nagging injuriews, just win baby.

Your going to tell me this guy has 5 years left??? He is 33 years old going on 63 years old. His body will not hold up for 2 even.

The guy has more heart than 90% of the league. Plus this season he's going ot have a lot to prove. I think that he'll be great for the next couple of seasons and Al loves older/experienced QBs. If we can get his cheap over the next couple seasons I say go for it. I wouldn't be heart broken though if we didn't.

I voted no-Steve is great, but we have Brooks and Walter. but I have to state that I don't feel Steve is great, nor do I feel he ever was great.

Later.

McNair is a pretty good QB but he's getting older & his body cannot carry him thru a full season any longer. We have AB & Walter. If we're going to get another QB we need someone younger.

But with Brooks and Walter, McNair really isn't needed. Getting McNair would pretty much mean we wasted money on Brooks, as he would barely see the field (and what's the point of having Brooks as your second stringer when he is only signed for two years?)
I agree with you bro

he would be great but if he gets traded it will go 2 ravens and he would be 2 expensive and would want a long term deal so nahhh only if it was a 1 year deal cause walter is going 2 be great so u cant sit him out for long

I said No. This is coming from someone who has always liked Steve McNair and has followed him since his college days. He is still a great player, but no. He is in the twilight of his carreer and took a lot of punishment along the way. Walter is our next big thing...

i got a feeling that if we had gotten mcnair a lot of people who are saying he's too old right and too hurt, would be singing another song.

he's a proven winner.
steve has all the tools and ability. he has been hurt and played through pain that most players would haven't. the man can lead a team. he has never had the quality of receivers that Oakland has today.

i know it would never happen because we have Aaron but.....but.... i can still dream. yes ive even liked him out of college, and i don't even like watching college.

I just hope none of you walk the streets saying We dont need Mcnair we have Aaron Brooks!!!

you'ld get laughed at for sayin somethin like that, if you ask me who I would rather have as my starting QB it be Steve Mcnair all things considered, no way is Brooks better then Mcnair and if Walter is better then both he'll get the job anyways. But like I said we already spent money on our QBs so no to Mcnair.
