Well even the summer turns into fall.. so I guess we all knew this time was fast approaching - especially last year.. he hasn't looked well for awhile. I, like everyone else wish the old man well.

John Madden can attract venture backing and step up to become part of the team once more. He is Mr.Football, and he would not forget about people like Art Shell, Mike Lombardi, Amy Trask, or Mr.Raider Jim Otto.
I'd rather see John Madden come home than Ed DeBartolo with the Silver and Black. Imagine an owner with his own vintage classic old school blocking sled. The Hall of Fame player who worked that sled, and his big owner on that sled pushing new Raiders to new levels of greatness.

Bah Al isnt really sick its just a cold or allergies come on Al you can kick its butt lol...
But on the real tho.. I hope Al makes a recovery and I do hope Amy Trask will be left running the team for the most part. I know Al has his son and wife learning the ropes which kills all those stupid policy/debartolo dreams... Good to hear Al wants the team to stay in Oakland!

FU** Eddie DeBartolo...........he ain't worthy of SH** when it comes to the Oakland Raiders. Can't touch us........and I don't want his weasel ASS near us. If he want's to be involved.....he can go beg his punk ass to get involved again with the Whiners!! I like the idea of Madden becoming something/involved with the Raiders......

Yea it is nice that he wants to stay in Oakland and upgrade the stadium...i must admit...if there is something wrong with the Raiders...the stadium looks like it needs some upgrading...although its not the worst by far...then again ive never been there so who am i to say anything....

I don't think Al Davis has been in the best of shape over the last few years, but props to him. I have always had mixed opinions when it came to the guy, but he is definitely respectable in all sense of the word and I wish him the best. I also think it's great that his son wants to be involved and is trying to learn the tricks of the trade.
