It's a good idea - you think? So, whether it's true or not, let's speculate. Let's say, for openers they want to start with a base of 7 Raiders for the initial Raiders HOF or, Ring of Honor or, Honor role or whatever they want to call it.

I won't name my 7 just yet but, I'm going to put one for now. And the reason I select this guy, is because I think he should have been in the NFL one a long time ago.

Considering, winning seems to be a high-card in the game of HOF, how can we not include Cliff Branch? Cliff Branch goes down as one of my top 7 into the initial group of Raiders HOF.

A participant on all 3 Raider SB Championship teams, Branch was one of the original quintessential "Deep Threats". He was at one time, the all-time leader in all major statistical catagories for WRs in the post season (back to the being a "winner" part). He may still be otherwise, he's high on the list. His SB stats alone include over 180 yards and 3 TDs.

So yeah, let's have a Raiders HOF and let's make sure Cliff is included in the inaugural inductions. My other 6 selections will take some thought - who to leave off will be the hard part!

It would be hard to keep Jim out of my initial 7. Freezing on the lumber of our bench, he gets his chance and turns himself, a down-n-out washed-up battered ex-Heisman trophy winner into the QB of a two-time Super Bowl Champion.

Surely, and I don't mean to call Shirely, Plunkett's story adds to the lore of the Silver-n-Black. Much like Branch, Jim too, in not in the NFL HOF. Okay, I'm sold. Plunkett will be the 2nd of 7 Raiders into my inaugural inductees of the (speculated) Raiders HOF.

Damn! Down to 5 spots with so many great ones to consider - impossible! Perhaps, since I'm making this up, I'll make it up further and expand the initial list.

I would have to say my favorite player of all time in any sport #32 jack the assassin tatum.he really should be in the nfl hof becuase he is probably the greatest safety ever to play.other then that wouldn't al davis have to be the first one in there I think.
My seven would be:
1.al davis
2.jack tatum
3.kenny stabler
4.cliff branch
5.jim plunkett
6.george atkinson
7.Ray guy(i know there are alot of players who might deserve it more but he does deserve it.)
I think that is my top 7 but I might change it

So, here we got two selections on two lists that haven't been added to my list. Raider Greats and HOF members Jack Tatum and Kenny Stabler will probably have to be included.

So, shall it be written so, shall it be done. That's 4 slots down.
