if fargas is healthy, we will be fine.I think fargas is the change of pace that we need, he needs to hold on to the ball and stay out of the training room. Bennet is just as injury prone as fargas. Porter is worth way more than bennett alone.

if the aints are prob gonna cut him why trade for him + he's overrated as a RB. id rather get draft picks and or a dfense player. there will be a lot of RB available after cuts.

I'd take it automatically.

If a player does not want to play for your team, and blatantly and openly says so, you do one of two things. Trade Him, or Fire His Ass! As much as I'd love to see his ass fired out of the Alameda Facility (If he wants to whine and be the next Terrel Owens, theres a team in the West Bay that would gladly accept him) I know that's not going to happen because of his Cap hit.

So, as long as we get someone for him, I'm fine with it. We need a #2 RB anyways to compliment LJ and take the load off of him.

Yeah but they were in the same situation as we are now, that's why they traded for garbage.

Moss was un-willing to play in Minnesota
The fans were growing tired of his antics
Mike Tice wanted a more accurate Passing Game (That meant taking out the Moss Vertical Offense)

Oh, and Randy's big 80 million dollar contract was totally crushing them too.

Here's the thing with Fargas...

Is the dude fast? Yes!

But he has ZERO vision, critical for a RB, which is why the only play he is decent at is a "designed" cut-back, or a pitch!

He has ZERO ability to stay healthy.

But assuming that he turns into Emmitt Smith over night, acquires supernatural vision, and stays 100% healthy for the rest of his career...

He still has FUMBLITIS!

Justin Fargas coughs up the ball FAR to much as a RB to be counted on...for anything.

It's like he's the anti-back.

The Raiders need a 3rd down back soultion...and they need it N-O-W!

Porter is good...but we have effin RANDY MOSS... don't forget about Gabriel...he's money...Morant or Curry (if he can stay on the field) would be excellent #3's... I do agree that we need a good #2 RB... and Fargas aint it... We also have carlos francis... who is a speedster WR that could break out at any time... but our need right now is depth at RB and DT...

yeah right porter is a much better player they better give him and there third round pick for porter but that is one gay ass trade.
