They tried to make a trade happen on draft day, i dont see us getting much in return for him and we need a 3rd stringer so i say keep him on for his last year and let him go as a free agent next year.

so lets say that we get a late 2nd day pick for him and after he is gone who is our backup or 3 stringer, granted that he will never be the full time starter for us but we do NEED A BACK UP!!!!!! and their is no guarantee that Walter will start or be the back-up he may still be 3rd in the chart.

yea, but how would he feel? being #2 for years waiting, then now a #3?? he could make a good starter for some team.. just not us apparently.

I liked some of there draft pciks like babtunde, jerome harrison and lawrence vickers, maybe a deal could be made out for them
