I say if porter does want out, lets trade him and low round pick(6th or 7th round pick for '07), and in return get some more defensive help, and a mid round pick(4th or 5th round pick in '07). Sounds good to me.

Half of Porter's supposed ego problems and trade demands are made up by people hungry for a big rumor. I don't know why he catches so much criticism, it's not like he doesn't play well or work hard. So he's ****y, big deal. I'd rather him have that attitude than see him smilin' and kissin' babies. Trading him would be suicide. We're deep and talented at WR, but Porter is still obviously the second best wideout on the team.

I like porter a lot...i hope all these rumors are not true. this guy has developed very well by playing with guys like tim brown and jerry rice. even though we have randy moss, porter is just as important to our football team as moss is, if not more!
