HOT DAMN, I'D LUV TA SEE RAY RAY IN THE SILVER & BLACK. it would seriously be one hell of a sight to see.

I live in Baltimore and real reason he wants out is because the Ravens won't redo his deal that he just got a couple years ago that included a 19 million dollar signing bonus. Which still makes him one of the highest paid defensive players in the game and also pays him 5.5 million this year. The rumblings in Baltimore is that Ray is having money problems.
Ray also has become unliked in the Ravens looker room and players on the team say he has become hard to deal with and gets special treatment. All year he sat on the side lines like a loner away from his teammates and basically won't lead the team anymore without a new deal. I saw first hand him sitting away from his team mates on the side line in quite a few games.
Ray's whole complaint is he doesn't want to have to take on blockers he wants big guys in front of him like the Goose and Sam Adams That will allow him to not be hit and run side line to side line like when he was dominant. He also wants to be in a 4-3 defense not a 3-4 like the Ravens have been running. Look at the team around Ray on defense and he is bitching (McCallister, Suggs, Reed, Rolle, Thomas, Pryce, etc) not too bad by most standards. If we were to pick him up do you think he would really be happy with our DT's?
Ray also has been hurt 2 of the last 3 years. With us having 1.4 million under the cap we would have to release players and redo a deal that I don't know if Ray would want to accept.
Also, another thing to consider is that Brian Billick, The Ravens organization and Ravens fans have been very supportive of Ray Lewis even during his murder trail with Billick and the Front office personnel at his trail and he has basically stabbed them in the back no pun intended. Like I said I live in Baltimore and this statement about the support is very very true. The Ravens allow Ray to be introduced and do his dance before games and get all kinds of exposure.
