Exclamation Raiders targeting Young?

This might have been posted already, but o well. I dont have insider but heres a summary.

"The Raiders reportedly have serious interest in making a deal for the Saints' No. 2 overall selection, but Oakland is hoping to land Texas QB Vince Young, not Leinart. The Raiders might be falling for the Titans' tactic of publicizing that they prefer Young over Leinart at the No. 3 pick, which is also a likely smoke screen."

Davis apparently feels his window of opportunity is fleeting and sees Young as the type of difference-maker who could lead his beloved Raiders to a final Super Bowl run under his watch.
Ummm....Al, your too late. That window slammed shut 3 years ago. If we trade the farm for Young he better pass for 4000 and run for another 1500 otherwise we ain't winning a Superbowl anytime soon.

And I can see why. Leinart is the Next Tom Brady, no gamebreaker talent, but smart and surrounded with a great staff, and decent Leadership ability.

Young on the other hand, Has the potential to be that Bo Jackson/Micheal Jordan type of player, that only comes around once every 20 years, the kind of player that Records Books are modeled after, the kind of player who wins Championships. He's got Talent,He's got Experience with a pressuring environment, and he's played in Big Games. Just give him 2 years to adjust to our system, and He could be the best thing to help our franchise since Madden was hired.

Ok gotcha..

So the raiders trade all the way up to #2 to take Matt Leinart.
But then the Titans pull a Jedi mind trick on Al to make him think
that THEY WANT V. Young.
Al falls for the 'smoke screen' and takes Young so the Titans
wont get him.

I agree that Youn has huge potential but if Leinart turns out like Brady at all I'd take him no doubt. Tom Brady as a rookie took over for a veteran QB in a superbowl game and led his team to a victory. Brady's stats are sometimes overlooked as well but Brady and Peyton Manning are the two QB's that battle it out for best QB every year. I'd take Leinart but that's just my opinion
