I've been an advocate of trading down, but I don't think this deal offers enough value. It may work on the trade chart, but the bottom line is that we end up with one fewer pick than we had before we make this deal. Pick 13 also could easily leave us without a chance at Huff,Ngata, Bunkley, and even Ernie Sims who's rumored to be going to Arizona at no.10. I guess we could still take Winston Justice at 13 which could be a very good pick, but I'd prefer defense. If the 4 defenders I listed above all go between 7 and 12, then there's no value at 13 on the defensive side of the ball.

7. Baltimore Young
8. Buffalo Bunkley
9 Detroit Huff
10 Arizona Sims

We'd then have to sweat picks 11 and 12 hoping Ngata doesn't get chosen (or Bunkley in the case that Bufffalo prefers Ngata).

Arizona needs a QB, trade down with them for their #1 (10), add their #2 and a #4 next year, and with some luck still get Huff at #10...Then have fun with two high #2's this year...grab a LB and a OL/DL

if Huff is gone grab best DL and grab Ko Simpson or Bing in the 2nd round plus a LB in 2nd...

If for some reason hawk is on the board we'd be crazy to trade !!!make them wait till we get ready to pick and see how bad they want it...I also hope we pick up that linebacker from alabama !!!

I have no problem with that trade, but I have absolutely no interest in Ngata and Bunkley. I say at the #13 pick we either pick up Winston Justice, Mike Huff, or Ernie Sims. And those guys will be there at #13 most likely.

its not gonna happen because al davis sucks ,,and he never trades down,,but that would be good ,,,ernie sims 1st round ,,2nd round claude wroten ,,2nd round pick from ravens ..ko simpson,, we would be a beast ,,3rd round elvis dumervil 6thround micheal bell rb

this is how our defense would look

de dumervil
dt wroten
dt sapp or kelly
de burgess
olbsims
mlb clark
olb morrison
cb asoughma
cb washington
ss simpson
fs sweighart

and michael bell would be a good steal in the 6th round and he will back up jordan

IF that happens we could draft the best player in the draft.. Manny Lawson.

1. Manny Lawson
2. David Joseph
2b. Daniel Bullocks
3. Maurice Drew?
