Fellas,

Somebody posted on the ESPN message boards that there's a "hot rumor" going around that has the Raiders making a deal with the Ravens would involve swapping number one picks, with the Raiders giving up Jerry Porter and receiving Terrell Suggs and a second and third next year. This guy said his source is someone in the Raiders organization. Just thought I should let you know.

Terrell Suggs is dope. He's young and he's a beast. Plays DE and OLB. I Like Porter.....i doubt it'll happen.....we'll see...

I hope something happens. It'd be nice for the draft to be coming up, and when it does AL Davis does what he did last year and becomes a player in trades and all that stuff. As a fan it'd be nice to see.

i have the feeling something is going ot happen, we made cap space then didnt really do a whole lot....so i'm guessing something may be in the works

I think something is going to happen too. But not until we're closer to the draft. It's the beginning of April. I just dont see ANY of the 32 NFL teams rushing into anything right now, unless it's too-good-to-be-true for both sides. Which at this point, I dont think that will happen. Around the draft my ears & eyes will definately be open to Speculation.

And so we can take the cap hit if we actually do trade Jerry Porter or any other vets that get cut/traded (Sims, Sapp?). I'm not saying I want any of those guys gone, but you never know what the Raiders will do.

Porter for Suggs and some draft picks and swap picks with Ravens?? I love Porter but, I'd do that in a minute. Suggs on one side and Burgess on the other. Suggs can play a little LB too I think.
