the guy averages 10 sacks a year....

With bookends like suggs and burgess, I think that qualifies as a move that shakes up the AFC west

u really think that suggs alone could change the balance of the afc.......wow. burgess has had one tremendous year and im sure more to come but if u think that two bookends like that will take us from 4-12 to a winning record alone, i dont know what to say.

they could really help, a better pass rush also helps to improve our secondary...

I think it will have a definite impact...

denver is a perennial regular season phenom and postseason JOKE

the chiefs don't scare anyone anymore

the dolts.... c'mon, man.... ****tyhiemer even knew that losing Breezy was retarded

the division is wide open, as far as I'm concerned, so YES another powerhouse CONSISTENT pass rusher will bring positive change. I'm not giving record predictions until I see the monday night season opener.

and porter's commitment to the team is suspect, he shows up when he wants to.... no tears from these eyes if he's shipped off provided we get an impact player in return.... gabriel is severely underrated, we'll be fine ESPECIALLY if Curry stays healthy (believe it when i see it)

Actually, this is what the Oakland Raider Message Board on ESPN thought was the big news. They have been speculating on that board for weeks about what the "big news" is that they have been hearing from this very site. On that board, they have been having people sign up here to try and figure out what the big news is all about (or have been signed up and are providing them with whats going on with this site).

I really wouldn't put too much on what they say on that board. For example, these are some things that were reported done deals on the ESPN board:

1. Culpepper is a Raider.
2. Larry Allen had already picked what number he was going to wear for our team.
3. The Ravens were going to trade Ray Lewis to us for a third round pick in next year's draft.

and the dolts, oh yea we havent beaten them in three years either.

sorry i dont think that one player on the d line will help us change THAT much and become a playoff caliber team.

would be nice but we'll have to see.

Suggs is an absolute stud that takes no crap from anyone. His youth and talent would be a huge move.

I think Porter is what he is and will not get better. The coaching staff of the Ravens is on the hot seat big time because their offense is so pitiful and they haven't won much of late so I could see them doing this. They usually draft quality defensive players.

With Clayton from OU and Porter, I think they would be a nice fit.

I still wonder if this would happen. The Raiders defense would instantly be better. Not really good yet, but what an improvement. The draft is always fun and I see wheeling and dealing in the works.

I would make that deal in a heartbeat ..but I would wait until draft day and see if the guy we want is still there ..besides we might be able to get more then that if some other team sees someone they want and we are on the board !!! the closer we are to the pick the more value we can get !!

Bookends like Burgess and Riddle will be more effective. Amazing how certain individuals are over looked can turn ones thinking around. A talent you have over looked and are obviously unaware of as well.
