Porter demanding a trade...
Heard this from a friend who supposedly has a insider friend. I would not be surprised. I think he's overrated!

Why so pissed? Porter did nothing until week 8 and actually said in an interview that he doesnt show up until mid season and he honestly looks slow. With the great depth we have if we could get a good draft pick or player for him why not? Before people get pissed I'm just discussing...

 hope its not true. i know we still got doug and ronald but neither one of them is the possion type wr we need to compliment moss. i think that if jerry could be one of the top wr in the league if he gets over himself and works hard. when jerry and tim brown were here he complained about playin time then he got his year to him self and did good could have been better but good considerin we pretty much had no other options. the moss trade was already done when he decided to resign, he said he had no problem sharin the offense wit the best wr in the league. i used to think he was a good guy he looked cool but from what ive heard in the past from ppl on this board is that the guy is a complete dick, so u know what fck it we can get top dollar for him right now wit the diminished wr core of free agents so we might as well get rid of him. if he is ganna be a problem i still dont really want to lose him but Al do what u gatta do.

Morant doesn't get enough love around here, I hope JP does get traded so Morant can step up and show everyone his skills. I think Morant is going to be great!

A-JP won't get BIG dollars b/c we just re-signed him last season.
B-IF we do lose him it won't be for just simply nothing. C-IF we do lose him we still have Gabe,Curry,Morant, & the other guy we drafted the same yr as Morant.

I am really shocked at how many fellow Raider fans dislike Porter... call me crazy, but I think he is our best WR. I know MOSS is the playmaker and gets all the hype and all that.... but he is so one dimensional. Porter does it all. He blocks, gets dirty, makes the tough catch across middle, physical enough and discipline enough in route running underneath to work underneath and he can stretch the field and go deep!.... he is the complete package! And although, I'd agree that he hasn't fully reached his potential yet... I think it would be an extremely bad move on our part to let him go! (Unless we got something ridiculous for him). Moss is probably the greatest at what he does, but he is one dimensional... a lot of people don't want to hear that, but its true. If you broke down his cathes statistically you'd see that he rarely has success underneath and across the middle in traffic....
We have a good group of recievers, but aside from Porter, they are all one dimensional. You make reference to Porter not doing anything to mid-season... for starters, he still wasn't 100% healthy coming into the season. Secondly, he stepped up when the team needed him the most, when Moss was hurt. Third, Collins was flustered, didn't have much protection, hurried the ball and did not go through progressions effectively and or recognize mismatches at the line. Porter was open quite a bit... Collins just couldn't get it there more times than not. Sure, there were a few occassions where Porter made mistakes, ran some bad routes and what not... but I remember watching tape complaining to my bro "Is the coaching staff not seeing this? Is Collins not seeing this?". There was opportunity there, it wasn't ALL Porter's fault. The guy got almost 1,000 yards last season, you make it sound like he didn't do anything.

could be true, i guess he was not talking good about the raiders at the pro bowl, even though he was not playing in it..this is all rumor..but who knows...
