In McCowns own words, why he didn't come to Oakland

Check out these Reversals, hear it and weep friends, dont believe all the crap you have been hearing, bottom line is we didn't offer him enough money, Heres my proof.

Reversal #1 Click Here this says "He lose fight, needs this money"

Analysis: Talking about his agent forward, his agent lost the fight. McCown needs money.

Reversal #2 Click Here This says "And Oak no money"

Analysis: And Oak no money!!!!

Reversal #3 Click Here This says "This Oak no money and I skip the county"

Analysis: This Oak no money!!!!! And I'm the F**K outta here.

Thats the bottom line, sure he talking about how he would like to play here forwards, and "having fun" "thats what the Raiders are about", its bull sh*t. We didn't offer him enough money, end of story. First the org says we never offered him the job, then, after he gets signed, we say "we offered him a contract comparable to what Detroit offered" its all bullcrap, so much for the "Most trusted name in sports" routine. We can't get a straight fu**ing answer. Good Riddence McCown, I think you suck anyways, and just in case I haven't offended everyone in the NFL yet, Detroit, I think you and Matt Millen suck too. Give me a few minutes, I'll be in a better mood Haha!

Let him roll with Detroit. He's not going anywhere. I don't think he's all that great. Denny has a decent mind for QB's, and if he was that great he wouldn't of let him go.

rediaR, you should be a big fan of Matt Millen as a GM, he gets everything backwards, forward.

He brought in Martz and has pretty much kept a good defense intact up front. Bad as things are, he did get Boss bailey to play MLB and we're still trying to put Derrick gibson there...

After seeing the video clip of McCown talking to the reporter, I was glad we didn't sign the chucklehead.
He seemed to start every sentence with a "Duh." He reminded me of KC all over again.

I was just being dumb with that little tyrade. I actually look for Detroit to be a force to be reckoned with.

Haha, yeah, it was a little annoying to listen to. A few other things I caught but didn't post because it wasn't extremely relevent is he was a little over weight for his physical, wanting receivers with fire, and several reversals from the reporter also, just things like he would be popular here. I mainly posted that just as "proof" (at least in my mind" that we offered him something, it just wasn't enough. First reports was that we didn't make an offer, I threw this up here on rf.net, actually, one reversal on another thread, and said we did make an offer, just not enough. Later it came out that we did make an offer "comparable to what the Lions offered" but he just wanted a better chance to start.
