Gabriel to 49ers?
POSSIBILITY?

49ers trade pick#6 to Raiders for pick #7, Doug Gabriel, and a second day pick.

Think about it:
Their leading receiver, B. LLoyd is gone. NorvTurner loves Gabriel.

The Niners may take their chances if they think they know who the Raiders want at #6.

why the hell would we trade an up and coming wide reciever and a draft pick to move up one spot? maybe if we were going to be getting a top 4 pick but not 1 spot

The Whiners have 4 linebackers in Free Agency. Julian Peterson and Andre Carter are two of them and the Whiners aren't making any moves for them - yet. Anything can happen otherwise, I don't see how they pass up a chance at AJ Hawk if they don't retain both Julian and Carter.

na i think id rather stay at 7, trade gabriel and third for daunte, and steal julian peterson from the niners and grab lawyer in fa as well. that would be my perfect offseason. i really hope it comes true!

gabriel may be the #3 WR on this Oakland team, but he is a sure starter on many other NFL teams...San Francisco for sure. Trading Gabriel for one move up the draft ladder seems to be an inequitable trade venture for us. The 49ers would have to throw in a starting player (LB preferably) and their #6 pick in order for it to work out for us.
