Culpepper: The other side of his injured knee

Well, we have tons of posts already claiming that Culpepper might not be back to his old form (2004 Pro bowl, top 5 QB). And the reasone being his knee (rightfully so). We have dissected the negative effect of that and we undertand all of it.

But what if?
he comes back to his old form and be the Qb he used to be before the surgery?

Since we are all "guessing" how he will turn out to be why not look at the positives as well?

What if he can be the Qb he once was? How will that impact the raiders?

Lets be balanced on this subject and look at it both sides, we seem to major on the negatives so much and fail to see "what if"

ok maybe i am not an expert in foot-ball, but my brothers is a doctor and he said to me it's a very bad injury, not the fact he tore 3 ligaments (it happens often without big problem), but in the case of daunte is the interior ligaments, i am personnaly not doctor and cannot make the difference between a ligament and some others parts of my body, but the injury is clearly bad. but an athlete is in good shape, maybe a guy as daunte can return and very good shape, really dont know

Always positive bro!! Love to see it. Everyone needs to rememeber there are always 2 sides to every story. I think if anyone can come back from this it would be Dante, he is built bigger/better then most QB's. I would rep ya, but I must spread more around first..LOL

The injury may only affect his running ability. He may no longer be a running QB, but should still maintain good mobility. If we get Culpepper, it will be for his throwing ability, not because he can break off long runs from scrimmage. As long as he can move and avoid a sack, maybe pick up a a couple of yards when forced to, then I'm Ok with that. He still is a significant upgrade over KC.
