Raiders interested in Jets' Abraham?

Quote:
The Denver Broncos seem to be the front-runner to get Abraham over the Seahawks and Oakland Raiders, among other supposedly interested teams.

Abraham is a sack machine who was designated the Jets' franchise player for the second straight year. He seeks to be traded, in part because the Jets never negotiated a long-term contract for the 27-year-old after last season.

Abraham's agent did not return phone calls Thursday, but he has said he doesn't expect Abraham to sign the $8.33 million tender to remain in New York. A trade would be costly, as the team that gets Abraham would have to have a long-term deal worked out for him, and he presumably would cost a high draft pick.

I doubt we get him but it would be a good move him and burgess at DE

I say either we get him or ratchet up the price so that Denver gets a cap hit or he gets to expensive for them. This makes A LOT of sense for Denver who let Pryce go earlier. Trutfully though tying up money in two historically injured DE's is a little scary.

I hope we get Lawyer Milloy. I think he'd be a Great safety to have here. As for abraham, I think it would take a miracle. I'm hoping that the falcons or seahawks upset the donkies bid to try and get him. If Al Davis did pull a rabbitt out of the hat, that would be awesome though. Can you imagine Derrick "Big Smooth" Burgess on one side, and on the other abraham. Geez man the whole AFC West would be sick with that thought.

My hopes are that we bring in some solid vets, maybe Milloy or a FA Lb, and atlanta or seattle steal abraham away from the donkies.
I think the seahawks can do it, it just depends on how bad they want abraham.
