How about Sam Madison?

I'm a Charles Woodson fan personally, but if Davis doesn't want to re-sign Woodson, how about signing a CB like Madison. He would be great to have in a leadership role for Rouitt, Asomugha and Fabian Washington.

He had a down season last year which means that we could sign him for less...

Not sure.

He's getting up there in age (isn't he like 31+?) and did has an iffy season last year. It's always a possiblity but I just dont see it happening. We have a decent young secondary that will, hopefully, be made better with an addition of a good safety and a good DB coach like Ward from VT.

We'll see what happens though, personally, I would rather us look elsewhere but I don't know.

We don't need any high priced Vet CB's this year, IMO. Spend the $$$ on DL and our young, speedy CB's will be okay.

Reasons why this would be a stupid move:
1. Raiders are in cap hell right now...lets get our cap then we can talk about this ****.
2. Id rather spend the money in another direction
3. We dont need a corner....we are stacked at CB, he would have to play saftey
4. He is old

Where do people think we're getting the $$$ from???
We're $26 million in the hole right now, and people want us to go shopping.

After Al & the Front Office get our finances in order, it'll be fun to hit the market, but until then......????

**Madison if he could come cheap, would be a good pickup. We've had older players take us to the Superbowl. I agree, for a vet minimum he could be a good pickup. I'm just worried about our finances. We need to get our sh*t in order!!! Come on Al & Front Office, lets figure this thang out!!!!!
