Warrick Dunn Would be Perfect

ESPN talks about potential cap casualties as a result of the failure of the league to come up with a new CBA:

What do you guys think about a Dunn/Jordan backfield?

I can't think of a better style runner to compliment Jordan. However he won't come cheap, and I can't believe that Atl let's him get away.

Another guy that might be available is Travis Henry. Supposedly the Titans have to decide if they're going to pay him a $4 million dollar option bonus. I think he would come a lot cheaper then Dunn cause he's got 3 strikes in the drug program.

I think a Dunn/Jordan backfield would be alot better than a Dunn/Ducket backfield.

I agree. The combination of a bruising, hard-nosed back and a shifty, speedy one is something the raiders always seem to covet. Wheatley/Garner worked well, I think Lamont/Warrick could be even better.

Not so sure about Henry, haven't seen much of him. What's his style?

I personally think we need to concentrate our money to other things because we arnt gonna have alot of it this year and dunn will be pretty pricey! And we need some help in other places i could stand having Jordan run alone another year we could have worse!

The last thing we need is to be on our way to the playoffs and Travis Henry decides to:

Smoke some of that Tennensse country side!

No thanks, Warrick Dunn please!

Jordan and Dunn just sounds damn good together. Doubt it will happen though.

Are you kidding me Travis Henry has three strikes agianst him. plus he can't hold onto the ball. Warrick Dunn is a football player Travis Henry is a rapist who banged a 14 year old. You canot compare the two. Dunn would be the perfect RAIDER and the one one the best teameates ever. Please do not group a scumbag like Travis Henry and a fine person like Warrick Dunn in the same post again.

Henry resigned by titans... damn we missed out

After sleeping on it, I really think we need a change of pace back, teams don't respect jordan's ability to gain the edge. Looks like they stack the inside and that's why he gets 3.8 per carry. Stretching the defense is always good. We should use the hurry-up with Walter and quickly sub in a Dunn-like back -- with the same tired defense on the field, we should be able to break off a huge run to the outside every once in awhile.

Do you guys not understand that we are one of the last teams who will be signing anyone from all these cuts?

We HAVE to get under the cap and cannot put alot of contracts off to other years. NO CBA!

The luxeries of a change up back is one we will not have unless we draft one in April.

We are going to be hard pressed to have a starting lineup of vets let alone two vet running backs.

So many posts of LETS SIGN soandso. They just make me shake my head, I thought the Nation had more smarts than this.
