Hey guys I was checking out my ESPN insider and saw this.

The part I thought was interesting is that Bently can play Guard or Tackle.

Since he's on the Vikings wish list, why is he not on ours?

I could easily envision a line that looks like this:

LT: Gallery
LG: Bently
C: Grove
RG: Sims
RT: Walker

Back-up: Slaughter.

Since Bently can play Guard, why not make a FA move on the guy and bring him to Oak-town?

LaMont Jordon would rush for 1400 yards off the left side of our line!

Bentley is a C who can also play G. He is a Pro Bowl C and wants to play there, but rumor has it he is an even better G. He is on my wishlist. Never heard he can or did play T before.

Cause #1. He will cost to Much, The vikings are UNDER the cap cause there cheap asses, even when the signed like 6 FA's last year there still under How? i have no clue but they have money to sign big name FA's we DONT now that there is no CBA expect us to be cutting guys not signing guys

And if we do somehow get Under enough to sign FA's they wont be big name ones

Raider fans get ready for reality the NFL will look very diffrent come friday so stop expecting that were gonna sign Huge star #1 or Huge star #2 cause odd's are it aint happening

No more threads about hey we should sign Alexander and brees and bently and witherspoon and Hope and trade for cullpepper and darius

Not happening this IS NOT MADDEN on ps2 this is real life

Hard times are coming lets enjoy what we have and hope we can resign Hill and a couple others and be lucky we have Walter who can start cause we have no money to sign a huge FA like brees when theres 5 other teams who are 20 Million under the cap we are 20 Million over the cap

Same goes with the broncos.chiefs,redskins Etc

Major cuts coming not major signings

A lot of Saints fans feel he's a better guard then center. But Bentley is on record as saying he wants to stay a center. Would be sweet to add someone like that to our line but he's way the hell out of our price range. I bet he's signed to a 5-year $30 million contract by Sunday night.

I think the guard or TACKLE comment was a misprint or wrong information. The guy has been a pro bowler at center and has played some guard, but I have never heard of him playing any snaps at tackle.

You play Bentley at Center and make Grove play Guard. You dont mess with a Pro Bowler too accomadate a player who has disapointed, it's up to Grove to prove he can play a position not Bentley.

Interesting comments...

Up to this point I've been against getting Bently because if we get him, SOMEONE either he or Grove would have to play out of position.

I think we've had enough of that!

However Bently is an awesome talent. He would certainly upgrade our o-line.

Here is an interesting thought without a new CBA ..... WE WONT SIGN ANYONE. WHAT ABOUT THAT THOUGHT.... IT IS TRUE! Can we quit with the we should sign crap? If there is not a deal reached by later today or tomorrow by 4pm..... we are FUCTTTTTT!

P.S. Not trying to be a d!CK... BUT IT IS TRUE

Man all this wishlist stuff is pointless until the new CBA is agreed upon. But while we're on the topic, I think Bentley would be a superb addition to our Line.

you are so money !!!

That team has so much talent and they as a team underachieve yr in and yr out. Bently would upgrade the guard position for us.

So would I. But Minny has more cap space then anyone. I bet they offer him the moon. Its not often you have a shot at a 26-year-old 3 time pro-bowler. And I'm betting they take advantage of that.
