i heard from the gm yesterday in a meeting in oakland (undisclosed location), that raiders gm was discussing trading for vick. Vick was quoted saying " i would love to play with moss, we'd be unstopable" .

Discussions are scheduled for this week in atlanta. i'll keep u posted

You're gonna get ripped for posting that on this site Tyson!!! Most of the posters I see on here don't like that type of QB.

I for one feel that would be a hell of a task to defend Vick, Lamont, Moss, Porter. Thanks for heads up though. I'll keep looking for updates.

im not going to rip him, its good looking out.. just dont think vic would be the answer. maybe if they used him as a flanker or something. he is fast as all hell, but not big on him as a qb..

although, it would be hard to focus on someone if this ends up being true.

yeah....were gonna get Vick, Urlacher, and T.O. ....i heard that rumor too......wait...sorry...that was on Madden 06 last night.

I would love this move ... for a couple of reasons.

#1) I believe Vick could be a great QB if he had the recievers. Atlanta does not have Moss, Porter & Gabriel.

#2) For the Organization and City of Oakland this would pretty much guarentee consistant home game sell-outs.

#3) Defenses would be F'ed trying to double cover Moss, spy Vick ... etc. I think it would be really nasty ****, normally I'm not a fan of a QB like Vick, but we have had 1 good QB out of the last 6 or 7 ... maybe we should try a scrambler ... he does have a big time arm.

I'm sure this is a rumor that probably won't happen, but if it did, I can't honestly say I'd be pissed, more like psyched up in the same way I was when I heard Moss was headed to Oakland.

I'm not defending this rumor, but I've read reports from other sources that Vick is trying to force a trade.

Especially with the V. Young rumors....

One question.

Why would Al Davis trade a truckload of draft-picks/players for Michael Vick when he can just draft a new and improved version in the draft (Vince Young)?

haha, I got TO, mcnabb, and bruschi on my raiders actually. THey're supposed to sign with AL 2morrow or something!

agree.. although i feel its name alone, vick would cost us a pretty penny.. prob a high draft pick and one of our quality wr's. plus we would have to figure out how to pay his $60 mill contract.. does anyone know when his contract is up? if its soon, maybe he wouldnt cost us that much.. maybe atlana is thinking at least we will get something for him.
