Rumor and propaganda has it that Jon Runyan will be a FA ?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't runyan a RT? If so that would work. We move Gallery back to LT, Sims inside to G. That would make our line much stronger. Draft Lutui in Round 2 and we would be set.

I heard the Jets might release Kevin Mawae.

I think he still has a good year or two left in him, injury or not.

I wouldn't mind Runyan though or someone like Jason Fabini from the Jets as well. Anything is better than what we had last year.

Runyan would bring great leadership and experience to our line, not to mention he would seal off the right side.

It's all about the $$$$$ though. If he draws too much interest he could be out of our grasp and we may have to gamble on a project. (like Art Shell fixing Mike Williams)

Runyan would be too much money...but if we managed, I'm guessing it would look something like this:

LT-Gallery
LG-Sims
C-Grove
RG- (unsure about this, but im guessing Lutui could fill this role?)
RT-Runyan

Now that is definitely an oline that I would love to have.

I would like to see Mawae and runyan on the line. Few moves of existing players and i think this line would be solid.

Thought Marty mike look Fabini's way, the coach taking over saw too much of his film from pats scouting perhaps.

Make him an offer that the Chargers have to raise so they lose other options down the road.

As for Runyan- hell yeah! He is one nasty junkyard dog kind of player. The Eagles have been fortunate to use someone with that kind of grit in their game to counter the usual polished West Coast Offense. He is a baller.
