Buffalo releases RT Mike Williams
Should we look at him for our line? He was the fourth overall pick in the 2002 draft and Buffalo cut him because they were unpleased with his development. If he was the 4th pick overall, how bad can he be?

I think that we need to look at him. Offensive line problem, Jackie Slater offensive line coach, a massive rt. It starts up front.

Ryan Leaf was the first overall pick, that doesnt make them good. IF he was a guard or can at least play guard then i would be a little more excited but it seems risky, bring him in for vet min and see what he's got.

according to this he is a back up LG, i know he was drafted as a right tackle but has played guard before falling out of favor in buffalo.

Maybe it's a similar case like Gallery, as some have posted. Playing out of position. Bring him in, as if it was as easy as that, see what he's got and if he'll make the final cut.

Yes bring him in and everybody else you can. This last regime didnt bring in any FA linemen to compete. None. They just looked at the current roster and said hey lets put this guy Walker at guard, etc.

Maybe Williams problem was the team. Maybe someone here can get the best out of him. You never know until you bring him in.

For example look at Tommy Kelly. Get Williams around a couple of HOF'ers and BAM!!!
