It's reported that Green will be in the FA's this year. He was an awesome runner for Green bay he should be even better in the Silver & black. He would be one of the best back up's since he was a starter on green bay an could very easily be a Starter for any other team. It should even make jordan play harder because he know green could carry the load. This would be a good sign what do you all think . Go for him or PASS

As long as it dosent interfeer with LJ and his progression, he wqas great for us this year and will be better next year after we get AS to whip the line into shape...

Dude, we have Lamont Jordan, why would we spend money on another back. If the raiders are going to use two backs, they can use Zack, or fargas. We need DEFENSE!!! and OFFENSIVE LINEMAN!!!!

We need a backup just as much as we need a QB. LJ gets hurt and our season is over. Zack is a short yardage back only he showed that he couldnt carry the load last year. FARGAS! I cant even believe you mentioned him cause he should be a water boy(quick to refresh our real players). Hes like a Really fast wine glass. The FB is being fazed out in the NFL and are being replaced by Backup RBs that are capable of being starters. I wouldnt mind taking Bryan Calhoun in the 2nd at all or Jerome Harrison in the 3rd rd. Green would be awesom at 29 years old and has always been consistent.

PS i dont think this should be in the rumor mill, noone ever said we ARE going to sign him or speculations of that, its Raider talk about our needs.

Personally, I'd like to see Fargas be the "scatback" for LaMont. Now, if you can get Green at a good price it wouldn't be a terrible thing. You can always use a change of pace back. Think Wheatley/ Garner.

WE HAVE A FEATURED BACK ALREADY! The guy preformed well. Look at his contract....he's the man for at least a few years.

All we need is a complimant to him. NOT ANOTHER FEATURED BACK! We can find many in this draft. After watching my old tapes of Nap and Garner...I've come to the conclusion, Maurice Drew is the answer.

if Ahman comes cheap and wants to split snaps with LJ thats fine, im not convinced that LJ is a starting RB in the NFL, I gues the notion that hes a back that needs to split snaps, it be better for us to bring in someone who can split snaps with LJ or a very good spell back.. one we can draft like Brian Calhoun or Maurice Drew.. otherwise im not sold on LJ just yet.
