He'll be good for depth and if he can kick the injuries like Burgess, then he might rebuild himself back to a starter.

Chiefs were looking for speed from the LB corp, Bell didnt answer... what would be good news involving and often injured veteran would be if the 9ers were releasing Tony Parrish.

sorry but, one bad year doesnt convince me... hes 25 years old and will come dirt cheap in his next spot, I Would take him for depth in a heart beat... he can blitz, name one LB we have now thats an effective blitzer, getting Bell and Hawk in the draft could make Rob Ryan change things on defense and we'll actually start blitzing with our LBs, either way if we dont blitz hes good depth.

Bell like most of the Stealers LB's are good fits in the 3-4..They are small and fast, but I don't see him fitting in unless we tinker with our defense and switch to the 3-4 which was a disaster because of the personnel we have on the roster.

If we draft an LB and can maybe get some other pieces in FA, he might be a possibility..

shoot im completely opposed to switching back to the 3-4, but Bell played LB in college.. he should be able to handle both schemes.

yea didnt I say one LB isnt gonna change our scheme, but two that can be effective blitzers would do the trick would it not? especially Two OLBs plus Ryan Riddle.
