Albert Lewis as our DB coach
Rumor has Albert Lewis as our DB coach and that if and when he can get a release from the Chargers, James Lofton will be the OC with Tom Walsh the Assistant head coach/offensive asst.

Tom Walsh is a former QB coach, and more qualified to be an OC.. I dunno about Lofton.

I LIKE THE LOFTON IDEA!!! He was a speed receiver that knows about deep balls. Could really help our use of our receivers out a lot. Very Solid Saff if you ask me.

Lofton's been coaching on San Diego's offensive staff for 4 years learning under Cam Cameron. And Al had him in for an interview and got a great chance to see "what makes him qualified". Tom Walsh hasn't been in the league for 12 years. I'd be much more comfortable with Lofton.

I think Albert Lewis was fired last week from his job.
The team also announced yesterday it fired assistant secondary coach Albert Lewis. Schottenheimer said he will not replace Lewis and will rely solely on secondary coach Brian Stewart.
