There's NO press conference scheduled today.....
....according to Zac Emmons, who's in Raiders PR. I'm posting this because there's a rumor going around to that effect....but the Raiders's PR office is denying it.

One other thing....he did say "the only one who knows isn't talking", but he also mentioned Whisenhunt, Fassell, and Shell as the guys they're looking at. First time I'd heard anything from anyone associated with the Raiders admit they're looking at Fassel.

As a hiring leader I can tell you this myself - you look at ALL viable candidates before you make decision. ALL data on ALL candidates.
How else can you make a sound decision.
That's why the Shell Back-up plan really lites me up ... it is very concievable that Shell WASTES Whiz in a contest of "who's better fit for the job", and just as conceivable that Fassel beat them both as well.

Here's where we get to the heart of the matter ...
As Raider fans, it's Al's decision who he hires, drafts, etc.
