End of Edge

espn.com is reporting that Edgerrin James thinks he will be somewhere other than Indy next year. Says top priorities is Reggie Wayne and extending contract for Freeney. Now I'm not saying that we should get Edge but just wondering your thoughts.

Edge is a bigger piece to that offense than people, big mistake letting him go....

Rhodes and Mungro are admirable back-ups but they aren't Edge.

I think Jacksonville is a place, but I gotta think Minnesota, Carolina, Baltimore, NYJ could be suitors as well. Edge wants a ring and wont have to many more years to get it, that being said I think he would take less money to play for a contending team, ALA Carolina and Jacksonville. But could you imagine what he would do in carolina.

I would love to see Edge in the Silver and Black man. Not too sure what the chances of him even considering Oakland, but I wouldn't put anything past Mr. Davis.

It will be interesting to see what kind of deals guys like James and Alexander get this offseason and then comparing it to what Jordan got.

Hell yeah! With the new O that Whiz will bring in, imagine the versatile back in the mix to compliment LaMont!!!!!!!! I'd love to see James in a Raiders jersey.

Alexander will be resigned. James, however, will not and I hope we're in on the offer-making which I think we will be. How could Al turn it down? He's Edge. Enough said.

Please, Al!

Al could turn it down cause he spent his wad on Jordan last offseason. Jordan has a 2006 cap value of $5.95 million. Its a little hard to justify throwing 3 to 4 million in 2006 cap space to Edge and sending a $5.95 million guy into a backup role.
