Raiders to announce HC this week?
I heard from some friends they've have read that AL Davis has made his decision and it is not the Whiz and the announcement is to come later this week. This is said to be from sources inside the Raiders. I've heard to that Ryan is going to be given the job.
This sounds like Al Davis but I can't find any press stories. Has anyone else heard anything?

I heard from some friends that Al Davis is going to step down and name gilbert gottfried as the new managing general partner of the Oakland Raiders.

I read that article Blitz it was more of his(writers) opinion than actual fact. I personally wouldnt be upset if they did chose ryan, he is a fiery competitor, what most on this site have been asking for. Plus the players love to play for him, look at what our no name defense did for him with lots of injuries. Talent is not our main issue on this team sure we have some holes but we need a guy the players will leave everything on the field for and i can see ryan being that guy.

Oh, ****! We waited this long to hear Rob Ryan would be the head coach?? Why the hell would Al wait until the first week in February to announce this? What's the point in getting our hopes up like he did? I know he said he wants the next coach to "excite" the fans. So to Al Davis, the synonyms of excitement are torment and torture I guess..
