Whatever the teams say, I would definitely be down for adding Ray to our LB corps...As much as I hate to give up c wood, i think that we'd be able to manage at the CB spot.

If all this seriously went down i would be Shocked because i dont think i have seen anything close to this kind of tradeing for these big of names with this many franchise tags in football before.
And the first big game i remember watching is the redskins vs broncos in the superbowl I dont see how we can scoop Ray L with us being so far over the cap already and what if he fails his physical? we are stuck with woodson for another year makeing 12.6 Million And why the fuk would the ravens want to trade Mcallister there best CB one of the top 3-4 in the NFL for Dante C? Who has not even recovered from a Horrific Knee explosion that tore his ACL,MCL,PCL i dont Understand this one at all This sounds like a bad deal for the Ravens and Raiders and good for the Vikings 3 Guys with serious Injury problems and one CB in his prime I dont see it happening maybe 20% chance |

i'm un-sure where I saw the quote today, but in the same breath that Ozzie Newsome says that all trades are rumors, he is quoted as saying that he is looking to upgrade his roster. That is a direct quote from their General Manager. Now, whether any trade goes through or not, NO GM IN THEIR RIGHT MIND is going to tip their hand and say what their doing -- that would indeed be the craziest thing any football executive could do. |

If the Moss-Culpepper Show didn't get the Vikings to the Superbowl in the NFC, what in world would make me think that it would get the Raiders to the SuperBowl in the AFC -- especially with stiffer competition and they both are older. I would pass on Culpepper -- give Andrew Walter an opportunity -- we might have the next big thing at QB! |

(1) The NFL clubs have until March 2nd to designate who will be their franchise "tagged" player. Until then, Charles Woodson ain't going anywhere. If the Raiders do not "tag" him then he is a FA. (2) If the Ravens ARE trying to deal Chris McAlister for Dante Culpepper then acquiring Charles Woodson -- and MAKING SURE that no other club steps in would be a priority. They could "safely" acquire C-Wood, get rid of cap space (Ray Lewis), and make a move on a player that they covet in Dante. Personally I would never trade for Dante Culpepper, but that's besides the point -- just trying to give reasons for why the Ravens would want to trade for C-Wood as opposed to waiting and signing him as a FA. |

I would say never but if somebody told me that we would get Randy Moss for NAP+1st+7th, many fans would laugh at the idea more when it actually happend and like the Ravens statement now, the Bi-queens always claimed that randy was not on the tradeing block and look what happend.
But Ray lewis is on the decline how effective can he still be, and would we offer him a new contract he wanted, the only reason to trade woodson is to get rid of his +12 mil Tag and we are getting another player with I want more money issues |
