The San Francisco Chronicle reports the Oakland Raiders may interview former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman for their head coaching vacancy.

Sherman is a good quality candidate to interview. 57-39 record. 2-4 in playoffs. 6 out of 7 years with winning record. 5 of those years with double digit wins.

take off his one bad year his winning percentage is .662, which almost the same as Grudens and Shells with us.

I like Whisenhunt, but remember: to most questions there are many right answers. Several coaches with their styles etc can lead the Raiders back to its traditional dominating ways.

Sherman is very underrated as a HC. I still want Whisenhunt to be the Man! But Sherman could become an OC here as well? I am very surprised that no one has picked up Sherman for their coaching staff!?!?!
