Daunte Culpepper traded to Raiders?

Supposedly Culpepper is going to be traded from the Vikings. Anyone know if the Raiders have an interest in him? Dont know if anyone here has any team connections but am curious if so.

I would guess any trade would involve the Raiders 1st and maybe Gallery or somebody. Similar to the Moss deal. What do you guys think?

Teams rumored to be interested or possibly interested are Miami, Arizona, St Louis, Jets, Saints, Baltimore and maybe Oakland.

Also I am curious what the Raider fans think of Culpepper being traded here. If Culpepper was to be traded to Oakland, what you be willing to see the team give up for him?

any trade would involve a 4th rounder at most and some crazy glue to hold Daunte's knee together

You can have Kerry Collitis for starters. This whole rumor has been posted here a few days ago when your writers in Minneapolis started the speculation. Gallery and a first rounder..... Yeah right.

I wouldn't give up too much for him. Who know how he'll recover from that knee injury.

We'll give you a 12pack of schlitz and a couple of scalped superbowl tickets for Culpepper.

A first round pick and Gallery? That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. So we would basically give away our first round pick and last years first round pick, which would leave us with an even bigger gap on the O-line, for a crippled has been that was exposed as not being such a great QB after all when he lost the premier WR in the game?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

Okay, sorry. But let's be serious here. Randy Moss, when healthy, is a physical freak of nature. We traded the #7 pick in a weak draft and a previously low-first rounder who was approaching mediocre status. Gallery had a bad year, but he's a #2 overall and still has a LOT of rebound potential.

Not to mention that Culpepper just came off his worst year as a pro, and was then totally upstaged by Brad Johnson. You guys will be lucky to get a second-rounder for him, in all honesty.

A fourth-rounder? There are a number of reasons the Raiders wouldn't want him, one of which being Daunte's and Moss's comments to each other on parting last year. Then there's the fact that Daunte's knee could very well breakdown at any moment; we have enough injury-prone players on our team...

LMAO Ummmm NO

We gave up a 1st rd 7th rd and a LB who prob wont be on your team next season for Randy Moss one of the top 2 WR's in the nfl

for Dante "I may never play again" Cullpepper i would give up a 6th and maybe a future 7th

Lets see he threw 20 Ints in 5 games last year BEFORE he tore his entire Knee up

ACL,MCL,PCL ring a bell?

Oh yeah and that whole culpepper wanted Moss traded so he could be the leader of the team and thought him leaving was a good thing "it will make them better"

Yeah i saw that whole better thing going worked real good!

He got the best WR traded tore his knee up and watched Brad friggin johnson lead his team back over 500. after he looked like a High School QB throwing 5 picks a game

NO THANX you keep him!

I'll throw in a 6'er if Hamms or Schlitz, that I have been saving for many years.

Surprising. Alot of Vikings fans cringe at the thought of trading him for that deal. Heres a message board where they talk about how he is a future Hall of Famer.
